What cork fabric is
Cork fabric is a thin layer of cork bonded to a textile backing. It looks and behaves like a soft leather alternative, it is light, and it takes a screen print or a laser engrave. It is not waterproof and it is not a structural material: on a tote the cork is the panel, and the straps and lining are textile or RPET.
The range
Totes and drawstring bags are the entry point. Above them sit a tote with a zipper closure and a cork and RPET belt bag. Insulated lunch coolers, a cooler bag with a cork bottom and a cork and RPET backpack cooler cover the food and drink side.
Minimums
Bags are cut and sewn, so minimums start around 150 pieces on totes and drawstring bags. If your quantity is below that, a cork tote is not the right pick and the coaster or drinkware categories will serve a small event better.
Where cork bags work and where they do not
They photograph well and they read as considered rather than disposable, which is why they land at conferences and executive gifting. They are a poor choice for anything that will get wet or carry sharp tools: cork fabric scuffs and the backing shows through a deep scratch. For a cooler that will live in a truck bed, buy a coated polyester cooler and save the cork for the event bag.
